Just a little speedpaint cause my sister wanted to see me draw something. I got more into it than I planned and just didn't care about the background.
 Reference used: [link] I always get bird proportioning wrong, and needed a marking reference. For a bit I will be referencing heavily on the pose until I am completely comfortable with birds. It is hard to not make them into gryphon proportions. |

It was funny, my mom comes over and she is all "Oh my goodness there is a bird at the feeder with yellow goggles!"

I was interested in this species because it hybridizes with the Hermit Warbler and shows an interesting hybrid zone that we learned about in our ornithology class. The females of both species and hybrids prefer the Townsend's, so the Hermits are slowly disappearing.
Thanks so much! Sometimes I added more detail in certain areas and had to compensate in others to keep it even. Oops. xD
